[My Store] [Announcement] We're introducing "Reply-to email" and "Sender email" features.

Update from Cafe24

In response to the policy reinforcement concerning restrictions on web portal emails, we are introducing new email features: reply-to emails and sender emails.

Release date: January 27, 2021 (Wed.)

 

Related settings : My Store>General>Store profile>Business (section)

 

Overview

 

(Before)

- Email: This email address is both used as the store's sender address when sending out emails related to customer accounts or orders and the main email address to which the store receives emails.

 

(After)

- The email section is divided into “Reply-to email” and “Sender email.”

- Reply-to email (Previously named “Email”): This email address is used to receive correspondence.

- Sender email (Newly introduced feature): This email address is used to send out emails to customers in relation to their account and orders.

                                                                     Your sender email will automatically be set as “no-reply@cafe24shop.com” once we release this feature.
                                                                     You can choose to edit this and manually enter an email address of your choice. (However, note that portal

                                                                     email addresses, such as naver, hanmail and nate, may be considered as spam.)

 

 Updated email settings



Other setting adjustments (recommended)

- Go to [Customers>Automated emails] and click on “Edit” for each template.
We recommend you add a note at
the end of your templates to prevent customers from replying to the emails you send out.

    (e.g., “This email was sent from a notification-only address that cannot accept incoming emails.”)


Please note that this feature will gradually be rolled out, meaning that it may take some time before you see the changes within your admin page. Thank you for your patience.
